History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Gerald was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dilettante. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

This search led him directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.
