Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alston does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Alston's homeland. Alston decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolf. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
