History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
