Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
