History: Born in the north to a Weaver, Gerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in halberd use. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Qualen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
