History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gruk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gruk. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Fragrant lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Born in the north to a Cook, Watson learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
