History: Kerkad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student he started as a Dilettante, but he got bored and became a Courier. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Umpen was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: An older man who wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Laucian was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Laucian decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
