His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in axe use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Astar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is short and auburn. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gorfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
