History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Aldous's homeland. Aldous decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
