History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Valafar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Valafar decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He became a Ploughman soon after.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new ploughman responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a Laborer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Mugrunden and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Description: This late middle aged man wears baggy tan pantaloons and a green scarf and is in decent physical shape. His silver hair is long and unkept. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Therai reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

He prefers to carry a flail, but if one is not available he will default to his club. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Glûk is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to end his boredom
