History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nordak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to reunite with his old friends

He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Stableman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stableman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
