His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fletcher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He hates Dragonborns with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
