History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Fax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: Raam hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Theriatis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Theriatis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
