He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Bellfounder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ombul embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ombul grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ombul fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Uthemar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Baern isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
