History: He was born in the north. Marbas was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is typically in his Mortician uniform. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mortician but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He uses divination through singing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fisher responsibilities is difficult; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears baggy tan pantaloons and a red scarf. His black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. His eyes are gold and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Cimer alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
