History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: An older man who dresses like a well dressed Guard does, he is not a threatening figure. He has wavy black hair. His black eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Melech lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has achieved small success as a Mercenary.
