History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Veit lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Veit began to lead the lost caravan. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
