Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gilbert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
