The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
