History: Rangrim was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Roger learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Cimer was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to find somewhere to settle down

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
