History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bricklayer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a club on his belt, and is pretty ugly. His black fur is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in the west to a Shoemaker, Beast learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Beast grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Beast. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Five was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
