History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dyer for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and to be a ruler again

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Motivation: To be a Stylist again; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult
