History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Cressel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Cressel liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week.
