History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cloak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Stylist.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His first spouse was a Fletcher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Geoffrey was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Geoffrey's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
