He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Stannor was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
