History: He was born in the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Kilvar alone in the world.
