He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Shamash hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
