History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Vassago was born with his mother's beautiful face. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Body Guard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man stands a little under 3'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a white shirt with thin black vertical stripes and blue pants. He has no hair. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Oppleby wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oppleby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He usually wears his black robe and has his morningstar always slung over his shoulder. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown fur is still thick. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nimble grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nimble. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
