He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A freak accident while working with his Masseuse father left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Darrow and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Druuk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Druuk. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
