His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He struck the Cook job and began his own company from there.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born to a Shepherd, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
