History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Taklinn embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats.
