History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Alston was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Alston's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Hunter and was forced into it by his family.
