Personality: Trail wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is obsessed with his god.

History: Trail hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.
