Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. When Chem reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
