History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and to end his boredom

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Akmen's homeland. Akmen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
