History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: This malnourished man is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and violet handkerchief worn on his left side. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Xappan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Xappan was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult
