Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. After a long history of fighting, Halander and his spouse have recently divorced.

His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
