This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Hobart wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
