History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Heskan was taken on many hunting expeditions. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To pay off his debts.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and he is greedy

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Lewis was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
