Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a grey poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
