History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Server. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Server for the past few years.
