History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
