History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Marbas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Gennal was taken on many hunting expeditions. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gennal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
