Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: He comes from a rich western family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
