His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Alberich lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He tends to his Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Salasar would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Salasar's homeland. Salasar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
