History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rurik is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
