History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His black hair is knotted and matted. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Therai was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Therai's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
