History: Vanuath lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Smoking grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Smoking. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
