Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Map Maker born in the past three hundred years. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Mortician father left him crippled. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
