Description: This late middle aged man wears a black vest and prefers green and blue shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down and is in decent physical shape. His white hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Frug learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His black hair is still thick. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: Skûn hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Skûn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
